TCL Q95K. Eleven channels of Bang & Olufsen-tuned firepower
SHARE

TCL just dropped a soundbar that reads more like a small home cinema kit than a single slab of speakers. The TCL Q95K is an 11.1.4-channel system, and if that string of numbers looks intimidating, that’s kind of the point — this is TCL’s new flagship, and it wants to be taken seriously.

Under the hood you’ll find 22 independent speaker units and a claimed 1,420W of peak power, which is a lot of oomph to distribute across a main bar, a wireless subwoofer and wireless surround speakers. Ditching cables for the surrounds and the sub is the single biggest quality-of-life upgrade a soundbar can offer, and it means the Q95K can scatter sound around the room without turning your living room into a wiring diagram.

The audio credentials come courtesy of a Bang & Olufsen tuning partnership, plus what TCL calls 360-degree omnidirectional sound field technology for that all-around spatial effect. The subwoofer runs a dual-engine design, and the whole system covers a frequency range of 30Hz to 20kHz with distortion kept under 1%. Those are ambitious figures on paper, and the low-end reach in particular should give action films and bass-heavy music some genuine weight.

What makes the Q95K interesting for gamers and film buffs alike is its connectivity. There are three HDMI 2.1 ports with full 48Gbps bandwidth, and they support 4K at 144Hz along with VRR, ALLM and eARC. That’s a properly modern feature set — plenty of high-end soundbars still skimp on HDMI passthrough, so seeing 4K/144Hz and variable refresh rate here means you won’t have to sacrifice your console or PC’s best modes just to route everything through the bar.

Put it all together — 11.1.4 channels, wireless surrounds, a dual-engine sub, B&O tuning and gaming-grade HDMI — and the Q95K is clearly aimed at people who want a discrete cinema setup without the AV receiver rabbit hole.

The catch is availability. The TCL Q95K was unveiled on July 27, 2026, and for now it’s on sale in China only. It has not yet reached the United States, so if you’re outside China you’ll be waiting to see whether TCL brings this flagship to your region — and at what local price. As it stands, expect it to land somewhere around £889 / $1,200 / €1,130 based on early figures.
