AudioBro V2. Now your hi-fi tuning tool talks back

Diagnosing a wonky home hi-fi setup usually means squinting at frequency graphs, cross-referencing forum threads and second-guessing every speaker placement decision. AudioBro’s freshly launched V2 web app wants to swap all that friction for something far more natural: a conversation.

The headline addition to the Australian-owned platform is conversational AI. Instead of interpreting raw analysis on your own, you can now chat with your AudioBro helper the way you’d quiz a knowledgeable audio buddy — asking what to tweak, why a room is misbehaving and how to squeeze cleaner sound out of your existing gear. It’s a two-way dialogue rather than a one-shot report, which makes iterative fine-tuning considerably less painful.

Backing that up is a feature AudioBro calls Room Memory. Rather than treating every session as a blank slate, the platform keeps your history joined up over time: past analyses, uploaded measurements, the recommendations you actually implemented and the changes you later verified all stay linked. That continuity means the AI understands the arc of your setup, so advice builds on what you’ve already done instead of repeating itself.

For the serious tinkerers, Pro subscribers can upload REW MDAT files — the measurement data spat out by Room EQ Wizard — and feed real acoustic readings straight into the system. From there, the back-and-forth conversation turns your own room measurements into concrete, actionable adjustments.

Pricing splits into two tiers:

  • Starter — US$24.99/month, or US$199.90 on an annual plan
  • Pro — US$49.99/month, or US$399.90 on an annual plan

The MDAT uploads and full conversational depth live on the Pro tier, so if you’re the type who owns a calibrated microphone and a folder full of sweep files, that’s where you’ll want to be. The Starter plan is the gentler on-ramp for owners who just want smarter guidance without diving into measurement rigs.

Everything runs through the browser at audiobro.ai, with no dedicated app to install — a sensible choice given the platform leans heavily on cloud-side analysis and its evolving memory of your system. V2 went live on 30 July 2026.

What’s genuinely refreshing here is the framing. Room correction and speaker optimisation have long been the preserve of people fluent in decibels and delay times. By wrapping that expertise in plain-language conversation and remembering what you’ve tried, AudioBro is betting that better sound shouldn’t require a signal-processing degree. Whether the AI’s advice holds up against a seasoned installer is the question every enthusiast will want answered — but as a way to make hi-fi troubleshooting approachable, it’s a smart move.
