While much of the industry chases thinness, Oukitel turned up in Berlin with a suitcase of rugged hardware built on the opposite instinct — batteries the size of small power banks, cooling fans and, in one case, a working fire starter. Three phones came out of it.
The endurance play is the Oukitel WP70 Ultra, which the company claims is the slimmest phone with a 16,000mAh battery. The cell uses silicon-carbon chemistry — the trick that has let phones add capacity without adding bulk — and it supports 66W fast charging.

The Oukitel WP600 is the strange one: a gaming phone with dual-fan active cooling, wrapped in double color injection molding with aluminum and titanium alloy elements and customizable RGB lighting. The yellow-and-black scheme is pure Bumblebee. The Dimensity 8300 inside is a few generations behind the current crop, but sustained clocks matter more than peak ones when there are real fans in the chassis. The memory spec is the part that raises eyebrows: up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, numbers we did not expect to see again this soon.

Then there is the Oukitel WP63, billed as the world’s first rugged phone with a built-in igniter. It is exactly what it sounds like — an electric igniter that lets you light a fire at a campsite when you are carrying no other firestarting tools. Around it Oukitel wrapped a 20,000mAh battery, an integrated camping light and a powerful speaker. Charging runs at 33W going in, and the phone pushes 18W back out as reverse charging, so it doubles as the power bank for everything else in the tent.
The WP63 is not quite a debut. Oukitel listed it among the devices it brought to MWC 2026 back in March, alongside the WP61 series and its RG14-P solar laptop, and it still is not stocked in the company’s own store. None of the three phones came with a price or a sale date attached. IFA 2026 runs 4–8 September at Messe Berlin, where all three get their turn on the show floor.
