Onkyo has widened its Creator Series with the GX-AiO range, a trio of all-in-one wireless music systems unveiled on 2 September 2026. The three models — GX-AiO 50, GX-AiO 100 and GX-AiO 150 — share an identical feature set, so choosing between them mostly comes down to size and budget: US pricing is set at $399, $499 and $599 respectively.
The recipe itself is more ambitious than the usual Bluetooth box. Each GX-AiO is built around a 2.1-channel acoustic architecture, with two main drivers flanking a central control dial and a built-in subwoofer handling the low end. Power comes from full-digital Class D amplification paired with Onkyo’s digital signal processing, and the subwoofer cabinet vents through a bass-reflex duct housed in the illuminated rear section of the enclosure — the LED ring around the front control dial adds a matching glow.
Connectivity is where the series earns its all-in-one billing:
- Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless streaming
- HDMI ARC for hooking up a TV
- USB-C audio input and playback
- Optical digital input
- A switchable line/phono input, so a turntable can plug straight in without an external phono preamp
There are limits to note. The GX-AiO systems do without Wi-Fi and integrated streaming platforms — no AirPlay, Google Cast or Spotify Connect — and digital audio support tops out at 24-bit/48kHz, with 32kHz, 44.1kHz and 48kHz sample rates accepted at 16-bit and 24-bit resolution. Vinyl fans and TV watchers are clearly the priority here, not hi-res streamers.
Onkyo has also worked in some flexibility. Three power modes — Eco, Standard and Max — tailor the output to the situation: Eco for lower-volume listening in smaller spaces, Standard for everyday use, and Max for the highest available output in larger rooms and gatherings. Two GX-AiO units can be wirelessly joined via True Wireless Stereo, with each speaker taking a dedicated left or right channel, and settings are managed through the Onkyo Controller app over Bluetooth Low Energy.
The cabinets can sit vertically or horizontally, wear magnetic fabric grilles and come in black or white finishes — a deliberately dorm-room-friendly design that Onkyo pitches at living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms alike. One caveat for spec-sheet readers: the company has not yet disclosed driver sizes, amplifier wattage, frequency response, dimensions or weight for any of the three models.
The Onkyo Creator GX-AiO series is due to go on sale in autumn 2026, with UK pricing and availability still to be confirmed.
