Samsung did not hold an event for this one. The Galaxy A07s simply turned up on sale in the Levant region, with Jordan the first market to list it, and its spec sheet reads exactly like what it is — a modest tune-up of the standard Galaxy A07 aimed at buyers who care more about longevity than benchmarks.
The phone first surfaced in August 2026 on the Google Play Console alongside the Galaxy A08, so its existence was hardly a secret. What was less obvious is how far Samsung is now pushing its update policy down the price ladder.
Under the plastic sits an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99+ built on a 6nm process, the headline difference from the plain A07 and its standard G99. It is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage, with a microSD slot for expansion — a detail that has quietly vanished from most phones above this tier. Samsung lists 64GB with 4GB of RAM, 128GB with 4GB and 128GB with 6GB; Jordan got the 4GB/64GB version.
The screen is a 6.7-inch PLS LCD at HD+ resolution, running at 720 x 1600 pixels with a 90Hz refresh rate. Nobody will mistake it for an AMOLED panel, but a 90Hz budget LCD scrolls far more pleasantly than the 60Hz screens that used to define this bracket.

Software is where the A07s makes its real argument. It ships on Android 16 with One UI, and Samsung is committing to six years of OS and security updates. That is a support window many flagships did not get five years ago, now attached to a phone that will never be described as fast. For a device likely to be handed down, used as a second line or bought for a teenager, six years of patches is arguably worth more than another 200MHz of clock speed.
The compromises are visible and honest. HD+ on a 6.7-inch panel means roughly 262 ppi, so text edges are soft up close. The 2MP depth sensor is filler rather than a second camera. And 25W charging into a 5,000mAh cell is adequate, not quick.
The Galaxy A07s was announced and released on September 7, 2026. Samsung has not published pricing in US dollars, pounds or euros, and wider availability beyond the Levant has not been detailed.
