Two Oppo battery monsters built for China have turned up in the Geekbench database wearing export model numbers, and the entries hint that the international versions will not be quietly downgraded.
The global Oppo A7 Pro shows up as CPH2931, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max — the same chip as the Chinese model. The global Oppo A7 Pro Max is listed as CPH2909 with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, again matching its Chinese counterpart. Both prototypes that ran the benchmark had 8GB of RAM and both ran Android 16, which is most likely the version they will launch internationally with.
That is the entire haul, because a Geekbench entry exposes only a handful of specs. Oppo could still alter other parts of the recipe, the cameras and the battery capacity in particular. Still, the chipset is the number one place where a China-to-global conversion usually loses something, and here it survived on both handsets.
For reference, this is what the two phones look like in China. The A7 Pro:

The gap between the two is wider than the naming suggests. The Max is not simply a larger A7 Pro: it moves to a sharper panel, a Qualcomm chip, an ultrawide front camera, and a battery that carries 2,000 mAh more capacity while charging at nearly twice the wattage. A 10,000 mAh cell in a 224 g body still reads like a typo, and it is the headline reason this pair is worth watching outside China at all.
The timing lines up with a normal Oppo rollout. The A7 Pro Max was announced on August 4, 2026 and released on August 7, 2026, and it is listed as available. The A7 Pro was announced on September 8, 2026, with a Chinese release expected on September 11, 2026. Oppo has said nothing about global pricing or release dates for either phone, and a Geekbench listing is not a launch commitment — it is a prototype being put through its paces. It is, however, the step that usually comes a few weeks before one.
