Camp Snap has taken the long, flat shape of the 1970s 110 pocket camera and built a digital camera into it. The Camp Snap 110D was announced on September 17, 2026. It keeps the brand’s screen-free, point-and-shoot idea but puts it in a body that looks a lot like a Minox, or like Lomography’s Lomomatic 110.
The camera is wide and slim on purpose. Camp Snap says it fits in a back pocket, and it also works on a wrist strap or lanyard. The company calls the design “as much a fashion statement as it is a camera” and says it is “bringing the ’70s back.” A wrist lanyard and a carrying pouch come in the box.
Familiar hardware inside
The internals are close to the Camp Snap 2. The main specs:
- Sensor: 8-megapixel Sony IMX179, Type 1/3.2 CMOS
- Lens: 4.2mm f/2.0, equivalent to 26mm f/11.5 on full frame, with a 30.5mm filter thread
- Storage: pre-installed 4GB microSD card that holds up to 2,000 photos and can be upgraded
- Battery: about 500 photos per charge
- Flash: dual-tone LED (6500K and 3000K)
- Files: JPEG only, transferred over USB-C
There’s one step back from the Camp Snap 2. That camera has six filters, while the 110D has five: Standard, Vintage 1, Vintage 2, Analog and Black & White. You pick them on the camera itself, so you don’t need an app. A small monochrome segmented LCD shows the settings, and you frame shots through an optical viewfinder.
Small changes you’ll notice
Camp Snap made a few practical changes. The memory card and settings door can be locked with a screw, so younger users can’t reach the card or change the date and time. The original Camp Snap needed that screw every time. On the 110D you can take the screw out and use a new pull-tab latch for everyday access.
The shutter button has also been redesigned. Camp Snap calls it its fastest yet, with a near-instant response and a tactile click. The company’s QuickDraw battery-saving feature puts the camera to sleep when it isn’t being used. Pressing the shutter wakes it up ready to shoot, so you don’t have to switch it on and off or wait for it to boot between shots.
Price and availability
The Camp Snap 110D comes in two colors, “Back in Black” and “Dreamsicle” (white with orange trim). Pre-orders opened on September 17, 2026. As of September 2026, Camp Snap’s own store lists it at US$74.99, and news reports round that to $75. The store says the first batch ships at the end of October.
The 110D doesn’t try to win on image quality, since the sensor and lens are basically the Camp Snap 2’s. What sets it apart is the shape, which will appeal to people who remember 110 film cameras as well as to younger buyers who want a camera with no screen.
