Redmi’s next flagship has stopped hiding. A fresh Geekbench listing for a device carrying the model number M511CD lines up neatly with everything we’ve heard about the Redmi K100 Pro, and it confirms the headline part: this phone runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 silicon, internally tagged SM8850.
The tested unit pairs that chip with a generous 16GB of RAM, and the numbers it posted are exactly what you’d want from a bleeding-edge Qualcomm part. On Geekbench 6 it recorded 3,429 points in single-core and 10,461 in multi-core. Worth flagging: this is a Geekbench 6 run, not the newer Geekbench 7 build, so don’t try to compare these figures directly against any Gen 7 scores floating around.
Benchmarks are only ever a slice of the story, though, and the rest of the K100 Pro spec sheet looks properly aggressive. The most eye-catching item is the battery. Reports put its capacity somewhere between 9,000mAh and 9,999mAh — a huge cell that suggests Redmi is leaning hard on silicon-carbon chemistry to pack that much energy into a phone-sized chassis. Feeding it is 100W wired charging, and unusually for a battery this large, there’s wireless charging support too.
The display should keep gamers happy. Expect a flat OLED panel with a 185Hz refresh rate, which is well beyond the 120Hz or 144Hz most rivals settle for. Flat glass is a deliberate choice here as well, favouring durability and touch accuracy over the curved-edge aesthetic.
On the back, Redmi looks set to punch above its usual weight. The camera setup is led by a 200MP primary sensor, backed by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens — a combination that hints at serious ambitions for both detail and reach, something Redmi’s K-series has historically kept a little more restrained.
