That’s a notable step up from the current Fairphone 6, which ships with 8 GB of RAM and the same 256 GB of storage. For a device built around longevity and modular repairability, a memory boost is arguably more meaningful than any flashy camera trick, since it directly affects how gracefully a phone ages over years of use — exactly the kind of use Fairphone designs for.
It’s worth stressing that this is a leak, not an announcement. Fairphone hasn’t officially confirmed the 6+, and beyond that RAM-and-storage combo, nothing else about the device has surfaced. No price, no launch date, no word on whether the rest of the hardware carries over.
