The LEGO Group has revealed what is now the longest brick-built Star Wars model it has ever produced, and it is a beast. The LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer (75457) stretches over 53.5 inches (136 cm) from bow to stern, dwarfing pretty much anything else in the Star Wars aisle. This isn’t a shelf piece; it’s a piece of furniture that happens to have engines.
Darth Vader’s flagship dreadnought arrives as a 6,130-piece build, so expect to lose a weekend (or three) to it. The finished dagger-shaped hull measures over 7.5 in. (20 cm) high, 53.5 in. (136 cm) long and 20 in. (50 cm) wide. To keep all that mass upright and looking suitably menacing, LEGO includes a built-in display stand.
What makes this set clever rather than just enormous is the sense of scale it builds in. Alongside the Executor itself, you get a to-scale companion Star Destroyer so you can appreciate just how comically large the Super Star Destroyer really is. There’s also a mini-build of the Executor’s bridge, a nice nod for anyone who remembers Admiral Piett nervously pacing that command deck.
The minifigure lineup leans hard into The Empire Strikes Back. There are seven minifigures in total: Darth Vader plus the full roster of Empire’s bounty hunters — Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM and Zuckuss. It’s the sort of complete set collectors have wanted assembled in one box for years, and it slots neatly into the film’s iconic hangar scene.
