Realme has gone back to the Warner Bros. well. After the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition, the company announced a second tie-up with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, and on September 8, 2026 it pulled the covers off two wizarding-world products: the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition and the Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition.
The phone is built on the Master Gold variant of the standard Realme 16 Pro, but the back panel is the party trick — it changes color, and it carries the crests of all four Hogwarts houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. The Latin school motto Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus — “Never tickle a sleeping dragon” — is worked into the design, and the right-hand frame is engraved with “Welcome to Hogwarts”. It is the kind of detail you only notice when you pick the phone up, which is exactly the point of a collector’s edition.
The earbuds take a quieter route. The Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition swaps the usual finish for a brown-and-gold scheme, with the letter “H” printed on each bud. The charging case is the showpiece here: a vegan leather finish stamped with the Hogwarts school crest, so the thing you actually pull out of a pocket looks the part.
Realme is not pretending this is a new phone. Both Harry Potter Edition products are expected to carry the same hardware as the standard models — the changes are cosmetic, applied to the shell, the case and the branding rather than the silicon. For reference, realme’s own spec sheet for the Realme 16 Pro 5G lists:

The standard model is sold in Master Gold, Orchid Purple and Pebble Grey, which explains why Master Gold was the obvious canvas for a Hogwarts makeover.
Availability is where things stay deliberately vague. India is one of the launch markets, and one of the images Realme shared points to a pop-up event on September 21. realme Indonesia has said the Harry Potter Edition arrives there on September 21, 2026. Pricing has not been announced for either the phone or the earbuds.
Limited editions live or die on how far the theming goes, and a color-shifting back panel with four house crests is a good deal more ambitious than a sticker and a wallpaper pack. Whether the wands-out crowd gets enough units to matter is the usual open question.
