Europe’s biggest club competition returns on September 8, 2026, and the hard part is no longer following the football — it is working out which subscription actually puts it on your screen. The 2026/27 UEFA Champions League runs from 8 September 2026 to 5 June 2027, with 36 teams in the league phase and 189 matches in total, and the rights are carved up differently in almost every market.
United States. Paramount Plus is the one-stop shop: it streams all 189 Champions League games in the US, with plans starting from $8.99 a month or $89.99 a year. If you would rather watch on cable, CBS Sports Network carries a share of the schedule, and select UCL programming and league phase games also land on the free streaming service CBS Sports Golazo. Spanish-language coverage runs on TUDN.
United Kingdom. TNT Sports holds the bulk of the package and reaches viewers through Sky, Virgin Media and EE. The streaming route is HBO Max, which carries more than 185 games and costs £30.99 a month on a rolling basis, or £25.99 if you commit to a whole year. That still does not get you everything: one game from each matchweek is exclusive to Prime Video, which costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year. Two subscriptions, one competition.
Elsewhere. DAZN is the exclusive home of the Champions League in Canada. In Australia the competition sits behind Stan, where a Stan Sport add-on is required on top of the base package.
There are genuinely free, fully legal streams if you happen to be in the right country. Ireland gets up to eight matches a week across Virgin Media Play and the RTE Player. Turkey has TRT 1 and TRT Spor via Tabii. Belgian viewers can use VTM Go and RTL Play, and RTL Play also serves Luxembourg.
