Motorola’s answer to the wide-foldable trend has a name, at least internally. According to a leaked spec sheet first reported by Android Headlines and picked up by GSMArena on September 29, 2026, the device is being called Razr Flex inside the company, with Parker as its codename. Whether “Razr Flex” survives to the retail box is still an open question.
The leak follows a busy September. Sketches of the phone surfaced first, and a few days later Motorola began teasing the device itself with a short video of Razr models snapping shut, ending on a blacked-out silhouette of something noticeably wider than a classic clamshell. So the hardware is real. The spec sheet fills in the rest.
Two OLED screens, one squat shape
The main attraction is a 6.92-inch inner OLED folding screen with 2364×1728 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. That resolution gives a much squarer canvas than a typical book-style foldable, which is the whole point of the wide format: apps and video that don’t look letterboxed when the phone is open. On the outside there’s a 4.97″ OLED cover display at 1140×1736, big enough to handle most tasks without unfolding.
The proportions reflect that. Unfolded, the Razr Flex measures 110 x 149 x 5.8 mm. Folded, it’s 110 x 76 x 12.6 mm, and the leak puts its weight at 215g.
Flagship silicon, a single configuration
Performance comes from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. That’s the only configuration listed, which is an odd choice for a device like this. Buyers who want more storage won’t get it, and the Android Headlines report says the storage isn’t expandable either.

The camera setup is fairly conservative for a flagship-class foldable, since there’s no dedicated telephoto. The dual-selfie arrangement makes more sense, though. With a usable screen on each side, a front camera for each one saves you from having to unfold the phone for a video call.
The 5,000 mAh cell is a solid figure for a phone that’s only 5.8 mm thick when open. The IP48/IP49 ratings suggest Motorola has tackled dust protection, something foldables have historically struggled with.
Launch timing
According to the leak, the Razr Flex will launch with Android 17 in mid-December. Motorola hasn’t confirmed the name, the specs or the date, and there’s no word on pricing. The company has already shown the silhouette, though, and a spec sheet this detailed usually means the product is close.
