Beating Star Wars Zero Company has so far meant one thing: roll the credits, then start again. The Bit Reactor strategy game, which launched on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 27, 2026, sends finished players back to a fresh save with some extra customization options and clone troopers available to recruit from the start. There is no real endgame. A modder called Cafiso has built one anyway.
The mod is called Aftermath DLC, though it is not official DLC, and it is hosted on Nexus Mods. It went up in early September 2026 and started getting noticed online in the week before September 19, 2026. The premise is simple. Once you finish the campaign, Zero Company stays in business. The Den reopens and missions return to rotation. You can play 1,000 more rotations (the game’s in-game days) of operations and missions, level up your characters and collect more gear.
The extra days would feel empty without something to fill them, and Aftermath adds plenty. Polygon lists the main additions as:
- Boss fights against Boba Fett, Palpatine, Gar Saxon, Rook Kast, a Clone Commander, a Purge Trooper and an Imperial Jet Trooper Commander.
- New recruits: Rex, Anakin, Cody, Baker and Captain Crovo become playable members of the squad.
- Higher caps: Den Level goes up to 15, character bonds go up to +12, and focus trees now have 11 tiers.
- Aftermath Threat, an optional system that nudges enemy health, shields and damage up slightly after every encounter.
- Aftermath Fatigue, an optional system that debuffs operators you send on back-to-back missions, so you have to rotate your roster.
TheGamer says Cafiso also rewrote 48 skirmish missions so they make sense after the campaign ends, and added Coil crisis pop-ups every five cycles. Its list of new operators is slightly different from Polygon’s. It names Bennic and Aurelio alongside Captain Rex and Anakin.
Timing matters when you install it. The mod’s instructions say to install Aftermath only once you reach the final mission, then play that mission as usual to trigger the post-game. Installing it earlier rewrites active skirmish missions and can break a save in progress. Aftermath works only with the PC version of the game. Console players are stuck with the stock New Game Plus.
Official support has been thin. As of September 2026 there has been little word on post-launch plans beyond a handful of fixes. According to Polygon, many Bit Reactor developers were furloughed before launch, so a large official expansion looks unlikely. That makes a community mod the most substantial endgame Zero Company has, and a hint to EA and Bit Reactor that players want more.
For reference, EA priced the Standard Edition at US$49.99 on PC and US$59.99 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Deluxe Edition costs US$59.99 on PC and US$69.99 on consoles.
